The PNW is no different than anywhere else other than the winter months and even then I'd rather be running up and down I-5 in the winter than dealing with I-80 or I70 through Wyoming and Colorado respectively.

Seems that careless/aggressive driving is escalating.

The pnw is about the only metro part of the country that dont bother me. Just the people can be quite questionable when it comes to common sense and or logic , which naturally effects the thinking pattern when driving

I came through southbound right after it happened too (it was northbound). It was bad, and a 15 mile back up and building as I travelled on South. I’ve got to say, 81 is tricky and busy and gets a lot of rain since it butts up against the Appalachians. It’s no different than anywhere else though. Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes it’s too busy and full of idiots. Overwhelmingly I have problems with 3 things: Amazon drivers, FedEx Ground drivers and 4 wheelers with NY plates. NY plate 4 wheelers are 10x as bad as anyone I’ve ever shared the road with.

California for me. I can sense the stupidity a mile away. Usually starts out something like "what the #### is this guy doing" as i proceed to get closer and notice the red cursive font with the letters that spell out "california" it suddenly all makes sense to me

    So your saying there’s a chance! :D

Hey why factor if a broker will give you an IOU?

I was trying to broker a load to Clearwater, FL today for Monday. A carrier offered $5000 to get it done. I said how much discount if I arrange for you to have lunch with the famous @tommymonza ? If your lucky he may even take you fishing. Unfortunately they passed. I tried bro! lol just messing with yah. I really did get that offer tho. Nuts. 1050 miles.

Well, hope you all have a nice weekend. I'm settled in at home, don't have to leave until Monday at 0800.

It was a good week for me. I had a $5,800 week on roughly 2,000 all miles.

Not as good as some of the real top dogs on TTR, but good enough for me.

Besides, the appreciation I get from the wife thinking I work real hard is priceless ;-)
