The problem I'm having isn't on all 8 tires, just the back inside tires. If flex was a problem you'd think it would be on the front tandem axle since it's carrying more weight. I always run my tandems all the way forward and under 34,000 pounds. My rig has 160,000 miles on it, and I shouldn't be ready for new tires yet.

I’d be leaning towards wheel end adjustment then if it’s only on one axle. I either skimmed over that part or misread your post.

This is going to sound like an advertisement but ..... ever since I started using MD Alignment shops and also going to their best affiliate in the country in KC I’ve stopped having issues that other shops would chase in the past. A lot of guys will say your bearings are fine if there’s no play when you jack the duals off the ground but that’s not always the case. Not being torqued properly can cause tire wear like you’re describing.

You could also email Mike through their website with details about your truck and pictures of your tire wear and he can point you what direction to go.

Just make sure it doesnt flatspot if its on that inside tread groove. Dot got me for that one. Rest of the tire had over 8/32 , but inside tread was flatspotted to 0/32 . From bad wear. Not OOS unless its 2 tread grooves, but still a violtation

Also if you are on Facebook, Mike Beckett of MD alignment is very active and very open to helping with any tire wear problems. This is the same Mike mentioned that you could email. Mike is arguably the most knowledgeable person regarding tire wear in the country, especially in regards to Big rigs. Also, I agree that MD alignment in KC is a great place to go.

Reading this thread is like a roller coaster for me. As I’ve said in other threads, I don’t use brokers or run the spot market. I’ve been working with carriers that have direct freight. A couple months ago my numbers were looking real good compared to what was being talked about in here, and now I’m like dang my numbers suck compared to these guys. Lol

Chasing some $$$ around. F'n sunteck playing hard ball. About a month ago did a weekend load 1800 on 225 mi. Drop trailer at receiver a hour from the house for 24-48 hrs. No bills in the wagon when i picked it up. Guard shack wasn't any help either.

The agent we booked the load with we reached out to him a bunch of times. Email and phone. Never responded back.......until i started going over his head up the chain of command. His bosses boss is finally helping us. In contact with receiver now.

Bills supposed to be in the wagon but the yard idiot left both doors open and guard shack 300 lb lady was pre occupied eating bon bons
