Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

It's a joke sometimes, isn't it?

I signed up with a new one last week and ran a load, I was happy to get 30 day check on it so I didn't even ask about payment terms. Not until I emailed accounting since the broker didn't know did I get a form sent to me that says:

Paper check fee: $20
Comcheck fee: don't remember, but expensive
EFT fee: $20
ACH free

Huh? EFT and ACH are the same thing in my mind.

 

Same thought after I got home yesterday. It's funny how you don't notice it when you're in the truck. You're like on auto pilot going thru the motions and doing the job. Still had stuff to do at home no matter how tired. Then leave back out again today. No complaints though when the money is decent compared to say about 3 months ago.

 

My ears always pop on the way back from jersey coming up the big hill on 80 where 380 splits off lol.

 

I'm more of an introvert most times. But F the OTR life style Lol I'd go crazy. I need to get out of the truck at the end of the day and unwind for a good 3 hours before i settle down.

Closest i did to OTR was the oilfield in Ohio living in a motel for a month at a time. That last week always felt slow mo Lol count down to blast off

Edit. @Scooter Jones that sucks. Maybe just an internal f up on their part. Done a few for them and got paid within 45

 

Just had a random thought... has mr Santiago interviewed any brokers lately to see how bad their getting hosed?

 

Did he, by chance, understand that he was completely backwards AND wrong? 0445 Eastern is 0145 Pacific, or I've had a really long day.

1400 on 484 loaded miles

And 4000 on 1350 loaded miles

Around 2100 total

Month of august has been good.
