I’m a big fan of cream cheese frosting so naturally I’m partial to the generous slathering of grandchildren.

I was getting unloaded in Kent WA this morning and preparing to DH home. My contract load was canceled last minute, but I made more than enough on the load up so I didn't mind too much. I get a call from a broker I've worked with a few times begging me to pick up a load in Portland today, and get it delivered in Aurora Colorado Thursday morning. Turns out another driver flaked on him and he didn't want to upset his client. It's a load of empty beer kegs, and he offered me $5,000 to take it. I told him I would do it for $5,800. He called the customer and they agreed. I was happy, but I'll be exhausted by weeks end. I'm old and need my home time.

Wife made me some chicken apple sausage scrambled eggs and toast this morning for breakfast. I share that because some readers are clamoring to know what I eat every day.
Off to work now, looks like September is starting out just like July & August did. However, I'm thinking about transitioning over to flatbed, cause you know, flatbed is where it's at!D.Tibbitt, Ruthless and Dale thompson Thank this. -
Looks like Uber and project 44 are in bed together. I never signed up for project 44 so I don’t know how bad they are.

I saw a new low for SWIFT today. I-84 east scale house just before the Idaho border. I'm in a group of about 10 trucks lined up for the scale. SWIFT truck in the hammer lane decides to stop on the highway, block both lanes and take the exit for the scale. Somehow the DOT officer missed it and let him go through. I swear these people are a menace.
