    $1,700 to $1,900 a week on payroll?

    That's impressive!

Much better than some of these slim shady 1099 guys out here.

I don't blame you Scotty. Unfortunately, cyberbullies have to be punched in the mouth from time to time, or they keep up with their bullying m.o.

Dave is a bully. Apparently a bit insecure who tries to cover it by mocking and degrading other people.

Probably been doing it his whole life.

It's still a mystery to me why he even participates on this thread. He's not well received and continues to take pot shots.

If I don't like someone's online persona, I certainly don't follow them around on a forum and troll everything they write.

That to me is just weird.

Back to the regularly scheduled programming.

I was blessed to have three of my grandkids over all day. I love them with all my heart and am so fortunate to be able to spend as much time as I do with them.

That's WHY I do and run my business the way I do.

Shorthaul is what affords me the opportunity to be home as much as I am to be with my family.

I've tried to make that as clear as I can over the mos on this thread.

It's not about the money for me anymore, been there, done that.

If $2.10 a mile is all I can muster in my situation and goals, as long as I can take care of my wife and I, I'm happy as can be.

    Peace.

Dale thompson and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

When I was leased on in 2016 cabinets were paying around $3.40 all in. They were 5-15 stops and driver unloads. That’s all East coast.
