Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

This is part of the reason why I keep telling everyone this is not the time to get in.

Even though the rates are good now there's so much uncertainty that in six months this could be catastrophic with bankruptcies everywhere.

Only time will tell but it's definitely not the time to jump in.

 

Your a major outlier though. Most don’t have significant business experience and enough cash to buy a brand new truck outright. Regardless, you’ve done very well!

 

Yeah I agree. Most people who want to become an O/O don't have the opportunities that I had so it made surviving the slow year much easier.

 

In general, the Soros post election chaos plans are very small potatoes compared to other events. Having plenty of barter goods on hand is always wise advice. It would be wise to have a durable supply of food and other necessities on hand to last for awhile. It is unlikely that a banking crisis is on the horizon but shortages of food and other necessary items are highly possible. It is also possible that all transportation will be shut down for a time.

 

Want to hear something really sinister? If you spell Soros backwards, you get Soros.

 

And something not so sinister, the same thing happens with Mom and Dad.

 

The lesson here is don't trust your parents, either.

 

Is there ever really a good time to get in ? Getting in when times are bad is the best time to get in for any investment. In my opinion...

It’s the same as reading about a good stock, or a gold rush back in the day. By the time you read it, it’s too late most of the time.
