Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

Took a half day today, so I can go stand in lines for whatever this weird event is.

 

I guess everyone early voted around here. All I’ve heard about is long lines long lines but today I walked up and waited about 30 seconds.

 

Up until this year I was not into politics, all I had on my mind was family and business. The craziness of this year had finally got me involved and I went voting today, for the first time since I became US Citizen almost 10 years ago

 

It’s that time of year again.... received the first of many emails about hauling Christmas trees.

 

. Welcome to the party ( it’s a little late) exercising your right to vote is the number 1 perk of citizenship.

 

I thought the number one perk of being a citizen of this country was that the government doesn’t suddenly show up and chop off your head for any/no reason like Quite a few other countries in this world.

 

Or throw you in prison for 20 years awaiting trial.

 

We are still going to be here in 4 years from now #####ing the same way about the rates being too low or worried about good rates attracting too many new ventures. Some of us are going to be pushing 70 and still ride the waves like teenagers.

 

Technically you're right. The people being shot by police in their own homes for any/no reason do get to keep their heads.

 

Yeah there's something to be said about sleeping in your own bed and not having to share a crapper in the morning with 100s of other drivers. Wake up the same time every day around 3am and home by 1 most days.

Doing the NJ run we were doing steady before the kungFlu. Guess the broker finally realizing ya get what ya pay for. Hooked up with another broker that has steady moves back outta jersey to upstate ny and is flexible to our schedule.

No more coloring books been staying in the 150mi radius.
