Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

Ran into some of this yesterday. Picking up in New Jersey... Customer had a $60 charge that nobody knew anything about, and of course my carrier is arriving thirty minutes prior to close.

Long story short, and a venmo to the local warehouse guy to pay the charge on his credit card so it could process in time for pickup... Woo.

 

Accessorials are always good for padding the bottom line in a last minute situation.

 

It was for a pretty good customer of mine. He told me to add $66 to the freight bill, since the original charge was $60. Sometimes it's better to keep them happy, considering I do 20+ loads for the guy a month.

 

Cut you a circle hole in the sleeper floor, put on extra large fuel tanks, get you a trio, and let er hunt! Pedal to the metal, two turns a week baby!

 

I notice the owner op forum is taking back off with just bought a truck and starting a new fleet threads. Click click click click click click (think first hill of a roller coaster). lol
