    I’m starting to think that over the next month things may go the opposite of a total shut down. NY Gov and now Chitown mayor are both signaling and calling for reopening businesses “before there’s nothing left to open up”. What changed or is about to change? Better not answer that. ;)

    Btw, the 2nd round of PPP money has hit the banks. It includes the opportunity to obtain some more "free" PPP money even IF you already received money in the first go around.

    Here's the basic requirement for fetching round 2 dinero:

    If you had any quarter in 2020 (take your pick), that was at least 25% less in gross revenue in the same quarter 2019, you qualify.

    Here's the kicker, the PPP money & EIDL advance grant gets to be deducted from the quarterly gross revenue chosen in 2020.

    Don't ask me how I know ;-)

    I think the million newly minted unemployed last month has something to do with it. As others have said, folks are nervous, and nervous people don't spend money. If people don't spend money, no tax revenue. Eventually, the last part will start bothering politicians.

    I'm building a war chest, just in case. Going to cost me in taxes, but that's just how it's going to have to be. This is not the time to not have cash reserves.

    When the amount of loads drops below 20, that signals a huge slowdown.
