It’s almost as if we didn’t get into any new wars either. That has to be a first in the last 30+ yrs.

 

Uber thinks otherwise

 

I dropped Uber a couple weeks ago. I haven’t opened the convoy app in no telling how long.

 

I ran a load 1.5 months ago for a broker at $1200....today same load on board I called on it and she says the rate is $800.....I tell her I ran the same load for $1200 and she proceeds to tell me well freight rates are declining......ohhhh really? Sure is funny im still getting $3-4 a mile from basically every other broker....

 

It’s just business. They are testing the waters. No different then if you throw #### at the wall and see what sticks when negotiating them higher. Let us pray that some ignorant sucker doesn’t come along and take that $800.

 

You know some sucker will. Fuel is going to keep climbing and rates are going down.
