Been off for the last 10 days and heading back out on Thursday. Is it just me, or is the cool weather holding on a bit later this year? Seems like at this point in April we're usually seeing some warming weather. We've had 2 days so far this year that have topped 70 degrees. This morning it's clear and 39 outside at sunrise here on the left coast. My tomato plants just don't like this weather.

It has been here too. The apple trees from the orchard around where I live are struggling. Hell, it snowed here last week! I’d never saw 3 to 4 inches of snow this late in the year when everything is trying to bloom.

Nothing to report on my side.

I'm assuming dog food & water loads are running pretty strong here in the PNW. I just haven't checked lately due to having the truck parked.

My marriage is still intact after 43 years though ;-)

How long until you sell your truck? Is it all paid off now? Keeping your authority active?

I bet your rig is lonely.

Dale thompson and dwells40 Thank this.

Truck is paid off now. Received another round of unsolicited Joe Biden money through the SBA and CARES Act bill. I guess they have billions leftover from the last round and applied principal to the SBA loan I had on the truck. Thank you to all hard working tax payers ;-)

I go back and forth on whether I should just sell the truck, trailer and authority. The prices for equipment is off the chart right now.

I'd probably take 150k for all three LOL

    dwells40 Thanks this.

Was talking to my buddy yesterday, who has a few trucks leased to a company, that does only automotive freight.
He said with the plants closures it's extremely slow now. They are doing like 30 percent of the usual volume.
When we were talking, he was coming back home from the Ford plant in Louisville. Everyone who has been there, knows how busy it is at the gate.
    Nowadays it is completely empty.
Plant workers apparently had their hours cut in half

All those automotive freight trucks now start getting loads from the general board and of course we feel it the most in Michigan.
I wonder how long this chip shortage is going to continue for. I can't imagine it being resolved quickly

I think you will get 85k for your equipment.

Look at this guy. Go big or go home

Than I guess 65k for my clean 6 year old authority might be a stretch then :)

    Dale thompson Thanks this.
