I think you offered fair. There's mi to il loads on the board posted for $1400-$1500 and ia is longer distance.

    That broker is cheap.

Midwest Trucker and PPLC Thank this.

Last week during one of their earnings calls, BOA is predicting "Transitory Hyperinflation Ahead.”

Apparently the term "Transitory" is the new buzz phrase.

I wish I had purchased a whole truckload of plywood last year and off loaded it at my house.

    Buckle yer seat belts...

Yeah I’ve been saying that for a while. Somehow the “experts” are just starting to catch on or still haven’t at all. It’s crazy no matter what sector of the economy you talk about.

About an hour ago I was passed by 5 empty bull racks with Washington plates here in NorCal heading south. I got on my radio and said, #####, the cattle business must be kicking butt right now. One of them replied, we have more work than we know what to do with. I never really thought about it, but I wonder if pulling cows is high paying work? Not that I'd ever want to do it.

    PPLC Thanks this.

Used to be decent. Now there’s so many people cutting each other’s throats to try and get work it isn’t funny. Now it’s to the point the hogs going to CA don’t pay much and the cattle coming out don’t pay much, but when you put them together you’re at a couple bucks a running mile. Spring run out of CA will be taking off soon and with that comes all the trucks from the Midwest that want to go to Cali for fun, and that knocks rates down. As long as they’re famous on social media they don’t care if they’re hauling heavy for sub par rates and getting 4mpg.

SteveScott, dwells40 and Dale thompson Thank this.
