LOL, nice to see I woke up the peanut gallery.

I think what's being missed in all of this, is that I went into a new business with my son several mos ago.

I don't want to drive truck anymore, at least at this point. My equipment is paid off. My overhead on the truck is paid until the end of the year.

I don't need the money from the equipment. Thus, I'll make a decision on whether to and when to sell, when I'm ready, that's one of the nice things about having equipment that's paid off and other streams of revenue.

I love working with my son. It's every dad's dream when you get to my age.

Trust me Scooter, you didn’t wake up the peanut gallery. Just get tired of the BS.

You brag about all this money you make out on that West Coast and how you’re home every night. If you you actually had a truck like you say you do, put someone in it. Shouldn’t be that hard to pay said driver if you’re making all that money.

I really don’t think you even drive truck, just make up numbers as you see fit, honestly.

If you have a paid off reliable truck and low bills it's real easy to take lots of time off.

So if you believe it's BS, why not simply ignore him? You seem to ignore about every single post in this forum except for a couple on sports and where everyone is, and yet you decide to come and read this one to bust some balls because you don't like what's posted. Maybe you're not really in trucking, or maybe you are and just suck at it.

Yep, but some people don't understand that. There are drivers who collect social security, and work a few months a years to supplement their income. They don't need to work long hard hours on the road. Just enough to pay off some extra bills because they have the means to do it with paid off equipment.

Saw a real nice Petercar awhile back. Driven by a clean cut, well dressed gray haired gent.

Company name was, if I remember correctly, "Now and Then Trucking"

    He sure did look happy.

You’re right, I just suck at trucking. I’m not pulling in the same money as you heavy hitters are. But for me being irrelevant, you sure do know where I hang out. If Scooter didn’t like what was posted, why didn’t he take it the thread that it was about? Instead he comes to this thread. Interesting.

Admitting you suck is the first step to recovery. Congratulations
