Net fuel price in Madison where I fueled yesterday is $2.10. This includes $0.33 ifta withholding per gallon.

So net fuel cost is $1.77. No mileage tax.

    Orygun @ $1.95 plus $1.50 mileage tax ( assuming 7 mpg ) is $3.45 gallon.

    Pretty mean game.

A cursory glance at Convoy this morning and I see that many of the lanes are up a bit from last week. A number of $2+ per mile loads out of LA and CA in general. Hopefully it's the start of something good.

It would be nice to finish the month with some good rates for a change. Can't really get much worse than it's been. At least fuel is down.

No, it doesn't work out to 3:45 a gallon. Besides, I don't go to Madison LOL

It's also early March. I mean I don't really pay much attention to anything, but even I've noticed from about the middle of February to the end of March is the bottom of the curve.

That being said there's still stuff for $5 mile if you're in the right place at the right time.

    Ok. $1.95 ÷ 7 is $0.28 mile.
    Add $0.21.5 mile.

    Cost per mile is $0.49.5

    $2.10 ÷ 7 is $0.30 mile.

    $0.30 x 7mpg = $2.10

    $49.5 × 7mpg = $3.47

Oh, no doubt my friend. I'm mostly just feeling a little snarky this morning. Don't mind me.

Well, my mpg is better than 7. Even still, let's say I average $2.22 per mile this month and I do 7000 miles. At 7.2 mpg at $3.45 all in fuel related costs, no tolls for me, that's 22% of revenue. Which ain't bad.

No you said all you're miles aren't in Orygun. So then you have huge applicable IFTA taxes.

    Gsm and PPNLE Thank this.

We could start a conspiracy... I said that China can go to hell as far as I’m concerned. 1 day later the entire thread is gone over essentially nothing. Maybe the Chinese have economic power over TTR too? Yikes..

If I disappear it was not suicide or deciding to not coming back.
