exactly! And it’s a tough call yeah, but if we collapse our economy over this, there won’t be much of a world to come back to!

That’s what a lot of people won’t realize, they think the gov can just keep printing money and there will always be Cheetos at the store, that nobody works at anymore, because people stopping making the products and etc... crazy

The Spanish flue was completely ignored, at first, and the Great War returning troops were making military parades in places like Philadelphia. The masses came to see it. No such mass media means of communication and broadcasting news as today. Still, that plaque was absolutely horrid compered to Covid-19.

And you know what else is crazy? , I’ve almost heard no talk of nutrition by any of the local, state or federal media. What can we all be doing in the mean time? ...Changing our diets, supplementing with vitamins, minerals and herbs. Increasing our natural immunity and maybe even fasting to make our bodies stronger for that day it has to fight. Drop the soda for now and replace with water. Make sure our livers are good, our liver performs over 500 different functions. Our liver rebuilds itself every two months! Herbs like milk thistle and dandelion are in many liver supplements for aid and rebuilding.

but I live in the world where “health” means vaccines, pills, and hospitals, who conveniently have doctors and nurses who don’t look healthy and are overweight to “serve” my health. Wow! What a time.

Somehow I think that this healthcare business and especially pharmaceutical business is still the winning hand in this.
Thank God, I can still buy veal livers cheap at the local deli store. People don't know what they're missing buying these Campbell soups.

up to 600, if you are making 1200 a week and UE pays 600 you get another 600, if you make 700 a week you get an extra 100

A text from my daughter this morning, her husband works as an engineer for the railroad on a local line hauling lumber products in our area.

"As of today the local mills are no longer buying timber. Will just be using the wood they have in stock until all of this is over. Loggers, timber fallers and log truck drivers will be out of work"

    Ruthless and Brettj3876 Thank this.

I personally know at least 7 guys who haul lumber out of this region to move them into other regions. A couple of them do more heavy haul stuff regionally with 4 axle trailers. A good buddy of mine who does that recently bought ( 5 mos ago) a brand new PB with a custom curtain van. His payments are $4,500 a month.

    Ugly.

Well, I crossed the country and back over the last 8 days and have little to report. This is good news. Most folks just carrying on. Most of the scary news I just hear about here and from people gossiping. I haven't seen much unusual stuff yet.

I hauled 3 commodities total, only one which could barely be argued as essential (refrigeration equipment for a plant expansion). I didn't make $5/mile but I did make over 2 on 5,000 miles due to very little deadhead.

Home til Tuesday and then actually hauling something essential, hospital beds. I was called and offered the load. Pays 2.25/mile with no deadhead. Whole load weighs 5k. Fine by me. Keep the wheels turning.

How the heck does a person have a $4,500 per month payment on a trailer? A 2 year loan with zero down?
