Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

How’s it going out there?

Except that I pushed it hard last 8 days.
IL - PA: $3400 with $2150 back haul / more or less 1600 miles
then again IL-VA-IL $3400+$1980 / more or less 1600 miles again
I left home last Saturday to come back home for one night on Tuesday to unload and reload on Wednesday and came back yesterday afternoon with 10 hours left on my 70 to unload tomorrow on Monday. The fuel makes a difference but running 3.4 vs 2.25 or less two years ago more than makes up for it. Heck, even with fuel close to 5 dol per gal, this is still better.

P.S. With my discounts I am fueling for about $3.35-3.4 per gal.

Wow, don't put me on the spot light like that. lol. Who am I compared to those making 12K per week on 2000 miles? lol. I was just being a work horse last week. Just UBER, Convoy and Coyote .... just watch their apps and make a bid ...not too late but not too soon. Sometimes call your Coyote rep., they can get it for you sometimes.

 

I'm sitting in my house hoping I don't float away. It's 2:30 in the afternoon, and we've had 5 inches of rain since I got up at 5am. Expecting another 3-4 inches before tomorrow morning. God knows we need it, but sheesh. At least the power is staying on.

 

Glad to hear you're using the apps Joe. I was under the impression that they didn't offer much in your area, and glad I was wrong. They are convenient, and I love the fast and free pay into my account. Just peeked at Convoy out here, and rates appear to be holding, although the weather sucks. At least it's a warm storm with little snow, even over Donner Summit it's just raining.

 

Doing $11,000 on 3200 miles with a non haz dry van in 7 days is fantastic. The fact you did in off apps is even more impressive.

Currently on pace for best month I've had. With 1 full week of Oct left I'm sitting at $28,295 on 7271 miles. Really hoping to hit $12000 this week to hit that 40k mark for the month for 1st time. $38,373 currently is the best month I've done so I think I'll be over that.

 

Great job! What type of trailer? How many miles? Who would of thought that you could potentially do 450 or 500k revenue on a solo per year? Remember when 250k was legit and 300k was killing it?
