Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

Was brokering a load out of the Midwest and while looking at trucks posted I came across one to “anywhere”. After clicking at looking at the details he had “No East, No West, No Texas, No Florida” LOL

Ha Ha I post mine to anywhere sometimes but forget I don't go to CA or OR and feel like an ### when someone calls me about one of the two. Have to quote stupid high price to not look stupid. Ha Ha

 

LOL oh I’ve done that too but dang when you won’t go East, west, or south, then maybe just put the little zone you WILL run too. I just got a chuckle out of it. Brokers can be pain in the butt and truckers too.

 

Unlike shippers and receivers, I take it?

Got my first DAT review. Broker told me it's a FCFS place, while in fact it's by appointment and even then they take 4-5 hours to load.
The audacity of some of these scumbags is just something different

 

This is why I don't like working with but a few brokers that I know. They are not worth working with most of the time. Sometimes it makes it harder to move in some areas but it pays off 95 percent of the time by not dealing with stupid....

 

That sucks. So literally right after you got the rate con you told them no? Or you got there and then left?

Seems sort of silly to get a one star review over that. There’s been plenty of times we’ve sent a rate con back because we knew a shipper sucked.

I don't know that broker but they are probably taking their own frustration out on you because their freight sucks. It probably happens multiple times per day, as only the folks not "in the know" will go to the shipper.

Oh well, maybe some regulars you work with can help you out and offset it. Or, do a response if you hadnt already.
