Nice trailer! I pull one of their old ones, which is still a nice trailer at 7 years old. I love that lift axle though.
Does that one have disc brakes?

It does. All the new ones they’ve ordered the last few years have discs, and 9 lights down the side. Last week I had a 2014 that they had me bring back to the shop because it was going to auction. I wasn’t aware it was that old when I was pulling it. They all go through the shop every 6 months for an inspection, and any little thing we find while pulling them gets fixed right away.Rideandrepair, 86scotty, larry2903 and 1 other person Thank this.

I pulled my front wheels off my Volvo with disc brakes this weekend. It has 930k on it. Brake pads look new. I replaced them at about 600k because I didn't think they had ever been changed. I can't wait to have a trailer with discs someday. I'm sure trailers with discs go through pads a little quicker than tractors but still, my experience with disc brakes has made me wonder why anyone would go with anything else.
Hey, I'm only 2 years in waiting on a Dane with lift axle and discs. Maybe I'll have it before I retire! -
Looking at the news today, Facebook groups, reading Reddit, this forum and whatever else about trucking crashing rates, inflation, stock market and crypto meltdown, It seems like the whole country is waking up from a crazy drunk party.
Everyone has symptoms of hangover already, but only later in the day we gonna find out who will have just a little headache, who will be a bit sick, who is gonna be very ill with a small chance of surviving and who is just plain gonna die.
It's like everyone on Titanic is starting to realize that something is wrong and panic starts to settle in lolRideandrepair, Midwest Trucker, runningman0661 and 4 others Thank this. -
You ever see comments by "u/glarus30"
on reddit? Always starts off "Vlad here...." good for some laughter and he is right too
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Lol I don't pay attention to user names, but it felt like all the truckers started to use that line "Vlad here"Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Yeah a lot of posers tho. Glarus is the original "Vlad here.." it's amusing to see his stories of dispatching a fleet of white volvos and needling brokers over their never ending BS. I can relate very well to some of it on booking the freight
Rideandrepair, PPLC and DUNE-T Thank this. -
I don't know yet if this is just the inspection week, or the market finally starting to get its summer steam, but dry van loads count is significantly up in the southeast.
Rideandrepair, Ruthless and Siinman Thank this. -
Well if my next 2 loads don’t cancel, this week Monday to Monday totals will be as follows. $7575.00 on 3136 miles home to home. $2.41 all miles. Total 4 trips. Fuel cost @ $5.40 gal. and 5.5 mpg. avg.= .98 cpm. Net $1.43 pm after fuel, or $4495.00 for 7 days work.
