That's an interesting forum. Spend a few days reading through it. I've had several conversations with brokers about many of those topics. Too funny.

This is my 7000-th post in less than 7 years. Let's bring some perspective to it.
If it takes 2 minutes on average to make one post then 7000 posts mean 14 000 minutes or 233 hours or 9 3/4 days - consecutive days of constant keyboard stroking. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap....
If we take all of the posts that everyone ever made on this site, would there be enough life time to read it all?
Asking rethoricaly, I don't want to know.

I guess, in older days, people wrote their diaries. They also had this need to express their thoughts but they were writing it to the Ether. Today, they would have real virtual recipients. Would they rather keep writing their diaries or would they rather become members here?
Asking rethoricaly. I don't want to know.

If this site is ever closed for good, will all the content be gone forever?
All the things that people said, argued about or joked about, purged with one click of a mouse....my 9 3/4 days and yours too.
If in 350 years from now, someone opens this site and starts reading what we left here, imagine how much of today's life they could learn.
Would it not be interesting to find a recording of people from 350 years ago - on American soil - and replay their daily life conversations?!
Or 2350 years ago and listen how Romans were quarreling in Latin?

Lol, we used to have a VW bus about the same color on the farm in the old country. Had a conventional sliding door, though.

I forget the name but there is a website that records every so often every website and it’s contents on the internet. So, if this one goes away in 30 yrs when drivers don’t drive anymore, hopefully that one won’t.

Had a pretty good month. Left out Sept 25 and got home this morning. Ran recap hours the entire time I was gone, didn’t have to do a single reset on the road. Leaving Sunday for Nevada to do some camping and bike riding until after Halloween.

How can you run on recaps for 3 or so weeks when you need 24 hrs off in a 14 day window?

What country do you live in there is no regulation that says 24 hrs off in a 14 day window in the US? 7-3/4 hrs per day max on duty and driving time you can work 365 days in a row and never run out of hours. But even if you're not using max hours every day it's not that difficult to juggle and never need a 34 hr reset.
