Just under $27k on 11,894. Not too far from you Joe. I'm not complaining, at least considering what I'm hearing from other folks out there.

A guy in a Facebook group is offering his reefer, that he ordered in the Summer. I don't know anything about reefers prices, how does this one look?
There are no comments posted there, only few laughing emojis lol
Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
6 months ago I would have paid $117K but now I'd offer $100K. Great Dane reefer trailers are still in short supply but the question is how many more guys are out there like him that will flip the supply from low to readily available.
Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and DUNE-T Thank this. -
Better Great Dane reefer for 117K than Utility dry van for 62K, If I were to choose.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
$100,000+ for a trailer.
All for the pleasure of hauling cheap freight.
What has this world come toRideandrepair and Concorde Thank this. -
Good trailer with good specs.... But $100k plus? Jesus H Christ!!
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
The World has always been about that for a glorified chauffer profession where there's no living in a 4 million dollar mansion.
For that you should have finished your high school first and then maybe become a plastic surgeon.
It is actually a good saying that some people should not forget where their place is in the Worlddwells40 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
$20,364 for the year. Should have been much better. Included 3 lost weekends, More than the previous 18 yrs. Also my wife who rides with me was hospitalized for the last week in January. That was a surprise. Took her to emergency on a Friday, after loading the first of two picks. Spent a few days with her, till we could figure out the schedule. Had to leave her on a Tuesday, in Alabama, get second pick in SC. Run it home. Total 1300 miles. Delivered on Thursday, and rented a car and drove 700 miles back to get her on friday. She’s doing well now. Been running Solo. So far Feb. $6800 on 3124 loaded miles. 3638 total miles. Including 300 Mile DH home from Louisville Ky. That’s 6 working days with 3 days wasted on the road, last weekend, and tge lost Friday. Got home Saturday morning. 9 days total. I had a couple trips set up for the weekend, both ended at home on Sunday or Monday. Grossing $2600-$3100. Both deals fell apart. These Brokers are being picky. Also dishonest, some really seem to be enjoying it. One told me he needed a Team for a 675 Mile load. No way he could find one at the last minute. 5 minutes later the load was gone. In other words, they forgot to take it down. Just thought they’d have some fun with me I guess. Others, though I’ve worked with them in the past, only have 2 yrs history on hand. Refusing to work with me, due to lack of inspections. I guess I’ll have to volunteer for an inspection. I’m surprised myself, haven’t been checked in a while. Always considered that a good thing. Apparently some Carriers are booking loads, and either are Brokers, or posing as Brokers, flipping the freight. Not hauling it. WTF? This craps affecting me? Just another aggravation. Today I renew my insurance, very reluctantly. Going to drop the coverage amounts on my equipment. Currently have Northland. My agent’s going to check Great west, and progressive too. I’m especially interested in getting Towing coverage if possible. Just in case, during these risky times.

I’m bouncing to Florida to take my wife and kids on vacation for a week, watch an auction and go to the ATCA show in Bushnell,FL. I just bounced home out of Florida last week. Now I’m bouncing back. Just trying to relax and go with the flow and enjoy my family and trucks. Maybe I will put historic plates on my truck, sell some stuff, and take off a while. This is the worse I’ve ever seen this business. Not the rates, because there is still some decent 1s for open deck, it’s the people and the attitudes. A old friend used to tell me “don’t let what others are doing concern you, run your truck and business how you always have” the foreigners and thugs are running rampant, trucking has become a joke. Any quick glance on any social media platform, or heck just driving down the road it is easy to see this business has become a joke. Suddenly laws I’m supposedly to follow are out the window for new brokerages, some really really junk equipment (I run some old iron, has its flaws I’m talking newer trucks just ragged out) and then look at the people, absolute trash and thugs, look at the driving. It’s down right absolutely scary to the point I’m cringing when another trucks starts to pass me. Used to be the four wheelers we had to worry about. Now it’s the kamikaze in some ragged out truck we need to worry about. I still loves trucks and the image of trucking that’s stuck in my head. If you come here and say this business has always had these issues, no it hasn’t. This isn’t the same trash my dad had to deal with in the 70s 80s 90s, heck even the 2000s. It’s a whole different world out here now, and getting worse by the day. Trucking has always attracted some characters, I am outnumbered by far now.
