Gets one thinking, how does a first term senator from IL become president that pays a $400k a year salary for 8 years manage to plop down that amount, on top of other owned properties. You do the math...

Costco has now now implemented new hours and member shopping restrictions.

    Updated Guest Shopping Policy
    • Effective Friday, April 3, Costco will allow no more than two people to enter the warehouse with each membership card. This temporary change is for your safety and the safety of our employees and other members, and to further assist with our social distancing efforts. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

When I was out there in my truck working for a few days, I seemed to have a different perspective. I did not feel that much distress. I guess it was because everywhere I went, there were no signs of sick and dying people. Nobody was coughing, sneezing, suffocating, waving their hands for help. There were no sings of fear in the eyes in any of the men and women I saw at truck stops or warehouses. Very few of them wore masks or gloves. The minute I got home and started watching TV, there was this squall of ominous media news and reports. I am already more distressed seeing all that on mass media than the real life.

On one hand going out there and work like always means exposing yourself to the virus and coming back potentially contaminated endangering my family, on another hand, the prospect of sitting at home or staying out there in the truck on the road, God knows for how long before it all ends, is hard to accept too.

I'm with you Joe. Other than the lack of freight and traffic in some places life is carrying on. DO NOT get on the 'should I stay home or work' thread unless you want to dive headfirst in to the disaster. I do not. I'm paying attention less and less to news and even here. It's a defense mechanism, actually. The more I listen or read the worse I have OCD symptoms and want to go take a bleach bath.

I get that. However, we can't just sit at home sealed up in some kind of Covid-19 protective bubble. We still need to go out and buy food, supplies, transact business on a personal level, etc. It's not like people are not coming into contact with other human beings on some level.

I have not resorted to wearing a mask in public yet, that might change. I'm just being a lot more cautious, as all of us are, when it comes to distancing, hand cleaning, etc.

As luck would have TQL cancelled the load w/o so much as a phone call or email. Call and say im getting empty and about to head to the shipper. Screw them, going on the blacklist.

Picking up a load tomorrow for monday delivery in mass for 1025 then dead head back to Binghamton for cranbury nj Tues morn for 700. Should have the 93 back together by then. Do the final re-torque on the heads and run the overhead

Like @Dave_in_AZ I think i got it earlier this year. Felt like crap for about 2 weeks, the cough/upper respiratory symptoms minus fever. I'm only 26 with a good immune system. Last year at this time me and the old man got the flu from one of the guys at the frac site. Ran a 102 fever for 2 days by day 3 were both good to go back to work

Mine lasted a good week. Not had a chest cold like that in I don't know how long. But as contagious as this 19 seems to be, I think if I'd had it, everyone would. But I do wonder if it wasn't some sort of precurser to it.

And I don't go to the doctor, I mean unless it's probably terminal. I was going, " Wow. Is cancer? Emphysema? "
