Truck Owners making drastic decisions about a Shut down

Ladies and Crackerheads"Guys" sit down for this read!

This morning at 8:00AM was on my way to Canton to pick up a load of Steel Bloom's going to The Rublic Steel Mill in Lorain,OH. All sounded normal as it did every morning on the CB. When I got to the mill the guys where all standing around the trucks and I was wondering what it was about. I did not see the loader operator so I figured it has to be BREAK " UNION" Break.

Notta problem! I pulled behind the boyz and unstrapped and got "BLOOM Ready" and walked over to the guyz.

Before I even got over there I could tell the conversation was thick and heavy. I could see it on their faces. I asked whats the Union meetin for?

The oldest MAN in the groups " THE OLDEST" man in the group hear me!
Sayed we're talking fuel ########! This is blah, this is $#% We're talking about shutting down JR are you with us?

I just shook his hand and say NO NO, ARE you with ME? And the REST of the 50,000 TRUCK owners out there?

They all sayed yes! Every one of them!

After just kicking the idea around and crap I told them about where to find the site and So on.. And they sayed they may , or may not come.

The most of them are older DRIVERS.


Anyways,
On the way to LORAIN on the TURNPIKE I80, heading to Lorain I Heard the SAME Identical stuff Shutdown Comments from a radio "BEHIND ME".
It came in FAINT , then to RED BARS BABY This Pissed off trucker was right on my rear! And Talking PULLEM over drivers...
If YOU DO IT I'll DO IT!

I said ok... We got to talking about WHY we should just STOP right DEAD on I80 and BLOCK the turnpike. And, Well... All I can SAY is... It's a GOOD DAM thing my EXIT came up, SR57 North to the Mill... Because had another MAD O/O came up to fill in the 3rd LEFT lane?

God only knows what would have happened!

I challanged that O/O, and from the LOOK in his EYE he would have DONE it If I would have done it!

From that right their Im telling you... It's only a matter of TIME... Like the Older VET driver told me this morning... He's been driving for 30 YEARS...
And he's NEVER, NEVER seen such UNITED THINKING the same thing sense the 70s!

But he sayed this time it's going to make a BIG impact! The Truck's are in to much of a DEMAND! and The US goverment Lacks the smarts to NOT take us for granted.

Im telling you THAT I/WE could have started TRUCKING WORLD war III this morning, IF we had a 3rd TRUCK... And That Scared the hell out of me...

These guys are Really meaning it, today... And they are SERIUS as hell!

when they tell you to pull yours over first? You'd REALLY better think about that one... Because your liable to end up in jail and YOU will start something that we may not be ready to do... 10-4?

I almost #### myself! This MAN was wanting me to SLOW down to a stop in the GRANNY lane, him in the MIDDLE and Another O/O in the Hammer LANE...
BLOCK all 3 LANES going EAST!

Thats a TRUE, TODAY Story!

Watch what we ask for! The guyz are ready to SNAP at any moment... and It wont take Much to push them " US " over the edge.

No no, I hear him talking and running his mouth.. So I called him on it...

I WAS in the SLOW LANE, HE was in the Middle lane... And HE was on the RADIO screaming for another Truck owner to FILL the Third!

WE WHERE ACTUALLY at 54 MPH with CARS passing us in the SPEED lane!
I was LOOKING in his EYES!!!!!!!!! The MAN had lost his mind... And well... To be honest... I would have HAD I not been getting OFF at that moment I think...
Hell I dunno...
I guess If ONE goes , I'll Go too... Im ready ...


And Hell if thats the WAY its going to START?

WE LACKED 1 TRUCK!

West Bound was screaming DO it , DO it!
It was all over the radio! OOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhh #### BOYZ here we go!

NOT A LIE!!!!!!!! This was real and this is how its going to START if It hasnt begon allready somewhere! We all know Night time is when we RUN and thats also OUR time!

With the RIGHT people and the Right mood set... Its going to happen!
