I did a regulr route to NYC up until June when I had to come off the road for Cancer treatments Now don't tell anybody this but If you get off of the BQE EB at Metropolitan and go straight I think there is an old/new kinda truck stop down several blocks on the EB side of Meeker just past Humbolt (exit 33) I never stoped in there asI always parked in a good spot on Meeker. up by 6th7th&8th! Just dont park in the red and odd days spots! Also go look at Resturant Depot on 149th close to Hunts Point look to the right with the 4 dock doors on your left and see the guard rail next to the building? I've parked there with no problem and even on the street there but leaving it there over a weekend I dont think I'd push that.

Now go to the area in the NE corner of the williamsburg bridge and 10th and there are whole streets (well, mt and buildings being renoviated ect) on Berry,Wythe all of those in that area where you could possibly park. you have a car there just look fo the no parking signs and see what happens. Williesb has cleaned up it's act a lot over the years and all the times I parked on Meeker which was almost every Monday afternoon til 2 or 3 am depending on which route I had to do and never had any problems! I know there are 2 OTR trucks I've seen in the area parked back in that square area that live nearby and there is a lot of curb down Metropolitan and go onto Grand and both sides in the wide section has a lot of curb.

Look around, but in the long run, if you can get into the Lambardi I'd do my long term parking there and MTA is still cheaper than driving the car!

Oh, look at the old gas station at the corner of Meeker WB side and Union Right next to the new Joliet Hotel. When I could I'd pull past the drive way and back up under the awning with the truck and trailer off of the sidewalk just watch the pile of asphalt so you don't tear the mudflap off! But I ain't telling ALL of my hidey holes or I wont be able to park! ROFL

Jerome Avenue in the Bronx # the end of the 4 line. Park out near the Cemetary since few people will walk out that far. Just check the signs to make sure you're on the correct side before you head home.

(You ain't heard it from me)
