You're sure right about that! Then they always clog up the shoulder exiting the Interstate instead of the entrance shoulder. In the morning when they get ready to go, the never just roll through the scale or through the rest area. They just plow right back in the flow of traffic with no build of speed. The craziness is real.

I've done it when necessary, but the thought that you have to go over the scales again is a little bit unnerving. But not as unnerving as worrying that you'll get hit on the ramp!JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
2 things.....
Thing #1, if you're running legal, what's the problem?
Thing #2, every rest area / scale you never had to go back over the scale again. Maybe it's different in different states, but every one I ever stopped at was after the scale. -
