I am one.

To be fair I was a O/O for a brief period of time. The owner/executive of the company that was in the business of turning Company Drivahs into Full O/O using a structured combination of different things that teaches how to do it in Central south PA showed discrimination. Deaf people who dare buy a 41000 tractor and go into business after two months of careful interviews and information gathering should not be allowed to proceed.

I walked away from that one because people like that sabotage themselves. It's unfortunate. However it is very easy to understand that in them days people in positions of power, real or imagined must have seriously showed their true colors without regard to anyone else. How dare I break the basic mold of being a nice compliant little socialist deafie doing nothing in daddy's basement or the letter folding workshop. How dare i buy a tractor and make plans to go into business with the first payment due in three weeks, fuel due overnight for filling and a number of other nuts that need gathering asap to get going such as permits etc.

When you run into people who show that kind of hate for lack of a better word it is way better to toss the tractor into his lap and walk away.
