I drove a 1995 W900 for many years and my main gripe is the AG100 suspension they used for many years. I never understood why they thought 8-bag suspension was better than 4.
Freightliner Airliner or regular Peterbilt Air Leaf is way smoother but I have never rode in a truck with the FlexAir suspension they used for a few years.

Also drove a 98 W900 and a 2000 T600 with AG400 suspensions and Aerocabs and neither one rode any better than the old AG100.

I like this one it rides real good. It's got the Farrell air bag kit on the steer axel which is IMO a huge improvement over Kenworth/Pete factory setup. The Farrell kit dumps fast and sets down lower than factory I think. Still dark here in Georgia kinda hard to see how low it is. 20241223_070403.jpg

I think many, if not most, European drivers admire and envy the US laws which enable such iconic trucks to be built but, with my sensible hat on I ask, do you not find your all round vision impaired when compared to a typical Euro COE wagon?

In 'the old days' this was really an issue for us with lorries having 'engine in cab' rather than 'engine under cab', which is the modern way.
Nevertheless I do love that photo. ;-)

I have posted this before I think, the last lorry I drove, 22 years ago, but good for comparison with its massive windscreen without being hampered by a long bonnet (sorry hood) and not only is the engine under the cab, the cab is an independant unit all on it's own with it's own supension.

I've never driven a euro cabover really have no knowledge of them. It would seem they would be easier to see out of though.
