I think alot of states are tired of cleaning up all the carnage from the wrecks. The western states are getting to the point they just close the dang road anymore when it gets real bad..

 

With what's out here for drivers now that's a lot of it.

Ain’t it cool how Penndont places restrictions on the interstate but not the major 4 lane HiWay that connects them I283 pike to 83

Looks like I'll be missing the worst of it. Currently west of The Windy headed for Colorado.

NYS isn’t much better. A couple years ago I was headed for Ottawa with a 9 car stinger. NYS closed 81 to commercial vehicles, and made us run skinny road to the Canadian border.
