Truck Pix... post yours

Must’ve been cool to have a truck driving dad, like I said earlier I had no family that drove, I remember though as a kid around 6-7 going to my grandparents in Hernando FL and there was a guy who drove for PST, had a big bunk FLD, the first time I saw that truck I was hooked, it’s a shame to see what this industry has become, I’m glad there’s still old school guys like yall out there to share the memories of the good old days.

 

More of dad’s old stuff. The brown truck and the white one were before my time. The blue cabover is the one I grew up in.

 

I slept in my dad’s truck as a 2 year old but he thought it was a terrible idea to drive truck. Didn’t really respect it until I started hauling hazmat.

 

Shoemaker Grain out of Belle Fourche SD. Dad used to run with these guys to Utah. Take grain out and then floor load bags of water softener salt back to central South Dakota.

 

Some B models that Cliff Reed had back in the day. The blue one was the first one he had that color and then decided to stick with it instead of having all different colors.

 

Same with me .. First in my family ... I was hooked as a kid seeing all the west coast hay haulers running i-10 az to cali... still one of my favorite trucks to see on the roads

 

Tried to get what was left of the full moon this morning for a little more cinematic value

 

ummmmm, this is a little to far north for my taste..
