The old girl looks good wore out. And you weren't kidding she flat out flies. I do believe you need a speedo that goes up to 120 lol...shed do every bit of it I bet. As for the sun crossing state lines no harm no foul as far as I'm concerned. We've all done things that weren't "technically" legal. I wish me and my old man could run together again. Sadly it won't happen he runs east I stay around here. Hopefully that'll change for him in the next couple months. Were busy but the guy I run for has 5 trailers and only 2 are moving right now. Soooo in reality I wouldn't be as busy if we had more trucks. Although last I knew he said we were gonna be running hard. His hard and my hard are 2 different things. Well just have to wait and see what happens.
Puncher that old girl is beautiful. I'm gonna have to get some tips on polishing so I can get mine shining like yours is.

Thanks guys for the roses, I sure love the old gal but can't take all the credit as my entire family has helped to keep her running and looking as good as possible and you know I love them too. 379exhd your hard running reminds me of my earlier days hauling cattle,(yes "cattle" no hogs or sheep) a bull hauler runs on a mix of adrenalin and guts and with a little help when it's called for. Wore Out your bringing that 359 along just great, I love bling, but all show and no go don't get it, so your spot on with the mechanical part first then the body will all come together, and don't part with her, they're getting harder to find. Congrats also on running with the son, I taught both my sons to drive and I ran double with one of them for awhile and really enjoyed it, and even tho his experience was limited I trusted him as much as anyone I've ran with in forty some years, I guess it was because he drove the way I do, or almost, lol. I hope I'm not getting to be a bore as I've spent more time on the computer lately because I had to give up my CDL's this month, first time I haven't had chauffers licence or CDL's in forty some years, sure feels funny. I hope I can pass my physical in the near future and get back on the road. Stay safe, Puncher.

Puncher, I like reading about your family, that's what life is all about, isnt it?
God bless you and I sure hope that you can soon pass your physical!puncher Thanks this. -
WoreOut, you should leave here like she is and just run her as a "rat rod". I'm a big fan of that style, like the guys from Gas Monkey are doing on a lot of their cars. I personally don't see the need to get her all shined up, she looks good as she rolls now

I agree I like the "rat rod" look all go and no show as I say. But I have always wanted a pretty as can be PETE, so I'm torn but being proud of as is takes the rush out of it and hopefully make a better outcome. Thanks hand

Thanks guys, I need to get a bumper ordered for it and I haven't made up my mind if I am going to try and clean the wheels up myself or have them machine polished. I'd like to find a better set of tanks too, but that isn't a priority as these don't leak they have just been patched in certain places and I don't like it.

Puncher yea I know the feeling of wanting some "help". Won't touch the stuff though. Caffeine and adrenaline and nicotine are good enough. Day I turn to that is the day I hang it up. Just ain't worth it IMO. I'm cattle only as well. Feeders feeders and more feeders. Pulled into a feedlot couple weeks back with 70 head on. 780lb average. Guy told me you can get 780s in the jail. Unloaded the jail last out walked 4 steers didn't rub a bit. Also educated him that yes cattle do fight in a trailer. He didn't believe me
. I said think about it. Some guy takes you to a sale, then you spend 8 hours penned up with 50-60 other steers that you're not around, then some idiot cuts you out of that pen sticks you with a hot shot loads you on a trailer and packs you in with these unfamilure cattle how the hell would you feel? Of course they're going to get pissed off and fight.
Hope you get the licence back soon. Its easy to go stir crazy puncher. You can take the driver out of trucking but you can't take trucking out of the driver. When dad broke his butt he was up for 8 weeks. Thought he was going to go insane that last week. I hope everything works out for you and you can get back out here soon.puncher Thanks this.
