Truck registration, IRP, USDOT/MC

    Hello everyone, I'm waiting for the new truck it should arrive this May and I'm trying to make a plan for registration.
    I'm resident of Pennsylvania but opened company in Ohio, my question is: could I get irp registration in Pennsylvania if I'll open USDOT/MC in Ohio, or should I register everything in one state?
    Also need advice about tax exempt, how does it work, and what's requirements?

    Depends on how your business is structured. If you're anything but a Corporation you'll have to have IRP/MC wherever your driver's license says.

    If you're structured as a Corporation, you can set up shop wherever you want regardless of where your license is.
