It's my understanding Mack has a 9 month backlog on Anthem orders, they are selling them like crazy. I agree, I like the new VNR as well. Volvo/Mack really has made some changes that make these trucks look different. No matter what, the new Freightliner will always look like a Freightliner, but these two designs look very unique. In the Denver area, there are already 4 or 5 units on the road, all were ordered as soon as Mack introduced the truck last fall. I've also seen a couple of them on the road with other companies. Something to consider, Mack is bringing out a 48" flat top sleeper for line haul/vocation use. The truck in my avatar is a 48" flat top Pinnacle, I run regional and local with it, depending on the wheelbase, it is very maneuverable in the city.

So is the engine and transmission exactly the same as in Volvo ? Can parts be interchanged?
Saw a Mack Anthem parked next to me yesterday and it sparkled my interest. They are also cheaper than Volvo
