If anyone ask to search my car or truck without a warrant or probable cause, I will stick to my rights

If they ask to search u say no. If they believe they have the right to search they won't ask.

Exactly. I told them I would not put up a fight, I would just record everything . I’m an immigrant but for god’s sake, officer Diaz barely speaks English, and even asked about my legal status in the us lol

When I was 17 I didn't know any better. A lady cop asked to search the POS 1978 Dodge Aspen station wagon we used to haul car and truck parts around. The detent on the door was busted and this car was nasty dirty. She halfway leaned in the car and the door slammed on her head! After wiping grease out of her hair she said "that's enough now I have a headache! Y'all have a good night!" That still cracks me up and she never found the weed in my underwear! I asked my Cop Uncle later and he said "no warrant no searchie" never been searched since!

I think peoples attitude dictates the negative contact they have with the police... of course they leave that out of the story and just come on here crying that they got harassed etc etc...

Affects? Yes. Certainly doesn't dictate it. Cops are human, and to think that there are never instances where the cop decides to cause problems for someone who doesn't deserve it is naive.

I was asleep one night, just outside of Post,TX. It was a little pull off area and I was the only truck there. A county sheriff woke me up and want to look inside my truck. He even wanted to look under my bunk. He then wanted to look in my trailer. He said that a woman working in the convenience store had gone missing.

Another time,I was asleep in a Arizona rest area when a State Trooper woke me up and wanted to look in my truck. He said that a teenage girl was reported as a runaway at that rest area. Her parents were still there. I told him that if I had a teenage runaway in my truck,I wouldn't be hanging around.
