    Ok, so the person who started all this got scared and slammed on the brakes causing this.....

    Wonder how many are gonna say you all was driving to fast?

    No he didn't slam on his brakes....don't know exactly why or how he started it all, but he had been passing other trucks going about 55 or faster.
    I was going less than 30 and came out of near white-out conditions to see stopped truck in front of me. If I had known the road surface was a sheet of ice, I would have not been out there in the first place. The road had been clear on I-57 up till that point. We all know how well Illinois takes care of their roads during the winter.

    Oh ok, I thought maybe everyone was playing follow the leader and the guy in front had a pucker moment then slammed on the brakes causing this.

    I've seen that happen alot.

    I don't know about him, but I'm sure that 4-wheeler had a "pucker moment" when I squeezed all 70 feet between him and the truck in front of me.

    There's no excuse of any of those trucks in the ditch! All "supertruckers" though! Nice job guys, you really add to the image of professional driving! Now, go back to school!
