I Hauled an oversize from CA to VA it cost my over $60 to get all my permits faxes after that trip I said screw it and bought a printer scanner from walmart for $50 and print off all my permits and email all my paperwork instead of faxing that printer has saved me $100+ by now and has paid for itself

i can think of a lot more then money we save by doing it ourselves.
how about the time we save NOT having to find a parkng sport OR stand inline waiting for the 3 drivers in front of us going an act of congress just to buy either fuel or a shower.Lilbit Thanks this. -
We scan gray-scale in 8 bit and color in 16 bit. There is a difference in file size, but it's not that much.
The main thing for it is printing; gray-scale is much cheaper to print if you forget to click black and white when printing. You also get a better print quality if scanned in gray-scale than if it is scanned in color and printed in black and white.

Your right about the dot matrix printers. Sometimes duplicates can be hard to get a good image. -
my last company. printed colors out just fine. if there's a way to set the color/grayscale in my fax software. i havent' found it. i just click scan. let it scan. input the phone number and hit send.
i was really impressed with the quality. when i seen one at the office that i sent. -

5th Wheel up in Canada doesn't charge me for faxes, which is nice.

Once I had a multi-stop load going up to a few places in Canada and the BoLs and customs paperwork was, no lie, 100 pages. Luckily I was at our terminal so I could fax for free.
