Truck stop outside Minneapolis

    I need to stop on 169 as close to Minneapolis as possible. Any recomendation? I dont need much, just a place to park, and decent cup of coffee in the morning

    Theres a holiday at the junction of 41/169. That'll be your best bet if you have to stay on 169.

    If you have an android phone get the free phone app called Trucker Path. It's a moving-map display that shows truck stops and much more. Click on the icon for the truck stop and it will show you all of the details plus nearby restaurants.

    Mall of America used to allow north parking on a few acres for us. I have NO idea if it is still active. Things have changed since my time 9-11 and after. But that mall was one of two places in that region (The other is a TA, ex 76 not far from there) Nothing but good thoughts with the hospitality of the staff in that mall.

    Avoid the mall if you can unless you want to go shopping. Lots of new construction in the area, the lot is smaller now with a IKEA at one end. The holiday is the best option on 169. The twin cities is NOT big truck friendly. We do not have a lot of places to park up...
