this is a problem with team driving. in my opinion they were strangers that had an outing.

but even married teams or bf/gf do fight. it's when it becomes violent in a stabbing or shooting, that it most certainly got out of hand.

your choices at that time and point of THAT fight was to either

    1) stay in your truck

    2) call 911

    3) call the truck stop management.

    4) ALWAYS, ALWAYS , ALWAYS...keep your doors locked, and your windows rolled up.

never get out of your truck to break up ANY fight, whether it be between a lot lizard and her pimp, or another lot lizard. many people have some sort of weapon, and they'd think nothing of sticking you, robbing you and maybe stealing your truck..if you wanna play "hero" do either 1-2 or 3 above.

One time I stopped at a hotel with an adjecent parking lot mostly just to check on directions and the weather. I was headed to the lobby and heard a commotion as some guy was yanking a woman around by the hair. I just exclaimed "What the hell man !?!".

I didn't have a plan to fight the guy, but he stopped more out of embarrasment, or he was going into a 'Hey, it's not what it looks like' mode.

As it happens, the clerk had already called the police so I gave a statement to them.

The sad messed up part is the girl was not pressing charges in this case. I can only speculate why. So would it have been the right thing to get involved if the cops were not there? Me feeling stupid then learning she was going to stand by her man?

There is no one size fits all answer, but in most cases I would stay out of it.

You don't think a white boy trying to split up a couple black chicks fighting is likely going to get blamed for the whole thing?

I would say it's highly likely, especially if nobody notices until after the white guy gets involved.

    1. Was the fight over how much safer Elogs have made everybody?

    2. Were they possibly in an International LT and hated the truck but took it out on each other?

    3. Was one accusing the other of wearing her spanx?

Lets leave the racial comments out of this thread. There's no need for it.

This makes me sad because some of the nicest trucks I drive at work are international lts.

I read the name of the thread and then counted posts until it became an argument about race. I wasn't let down.
