Whoever says call the police is a ##### narc. Let people handle their stuff. The police never make anything better. Those 2 #####es didnt know and/or didnt care that you were there. They weren't going to attack you, lol.

But if you don't have a plan to protect yourself while on the road, you're going to end up sitting on the side of your truck crying.

Also you missed a prime opportunity to invite the loser in and console her :D

I’m guessing someone farted in the cab.

    My reasoning is this.

Last night I had some truck stop food, to balance out the months of healthy eating, today early morning I let one fly and all I can say it was so bad I wanted to jump tuck and roll at hwy speeds.

As for the lower class comment don’t think he’s referring to income of people, he’s referring to intellect.

Hood rats are always hood rats no matter color or location.

And the last part I could careless if they are fighting.

Thank you all for the replies. You all brought up good points. Especially the one about staging a fight to get me out of the truck to rob me or do harm. I've never thought of that before.

Seems I made the right choice by staying out of it, and that calling the truck stop or 911 is the most sensible course of action if something escalated to gunshots or similar that then start to threaten my safety.

I made this thread because I wanted to do the right thing. I have to remember that I am OTR and not in my own small tight knit community back home, where we look after each other. It's a shame, but I guess that's how the world works.

Last, my descriptions, as I stated in my OP, were not meant to be hateful or mean and in fact I described them in a very politically correct and respectful way, or so I thought. But they were facts and I do believe that they mattered in this situation.

Again, If I caused offense to anybody I do apologize and that certainly wasn't my intention with my OP.

Thanks for the advice, hopefully I won't have to deal with something like this again. I hope those two girls stay safe out there.

When seconds counts, the police are only minutes away.

It's funny you say that because last week my wife set the alarm off by accident opening up her office at 7am. At 8:30 am the sheriff's department shows up and wanted to charge her $150 for a false alarm. She said what if someone had actually broken in? They could have killed her and robbed the place and been halfway to Georgia by now. They decided not to charge her lol.
