I can see not taking a truckstop shower everyday but, what about at least wiping yourself down with some babywipes or something. I know I'll have one of those camp showers on my truck to avoid the truckstop showers as much as possible.

I woulodn't go out without my own towel and supplies......I'm not using the same towel the ###### in the wifebeater. the saggy shorts, and potbelly used at some point before me.
and don't forget the shower shoes. I don't care how 'clean' they are, they're still public use and I just don't trust it enough to go barefoot in. think locker room in high school.
but, not showering at least every other day or so just isn't an option -
I try to shower everyday, but sometimes that isn't possible depending on the schedule, so if I missed a shower one day, I make sure the next day I have time.
I carry my own towel, and I use my own towel, I also use the truck stop towel, but that is just to put on the floor and stand on, or sit on the bench. -
Every Saturday whether I need it or not!
But seriously, yes you should have a towel of your own just in case. The majority of the major truckstops all provide them, but a few of the smaller places still don't, or want to charge you for the use of a towel.
Bring your own soap as a backup too, as that pump stuff in the places that won't give you a bar of soap, is useless. -
Seems like we'd have an industrial size body dryer by now. It would sure save on laundry, for the ones that actually wash their towels anyway.
