To the drivers who feel the need to run 40 M.P.H. around the truck stop parking lots and through the fuel islands, SLOW DOWN! There are people walking around you know, you probably don't even see them though. Last night my boss and I were at Iowa 80 in Walcott, as we were walking toward the main drive, across to the truck stop some driver comes through there hauling #####, and nearly hits my boss. I realize that many are on a tight schedule, but possibly taking a life isn't going to make your day go better. Slow down!:biggrin_25513:

Hopefully, if that happens, a few have time to kick their ### before the cops show up..."he fell out of his truck officer"...

It already happened recently. There's a thread around here somewhere about it.

i read a blog the other day about someone who ran over and drug someone...People just need to slow down and do a double take sometimes

I know what you mean and I too hope I'm there...When I read that the driver that hit the guy the other day was distraught, I was like, he friggin should be as he's crawling around the ground looking for his teeth with one eye barely open...Sometimes accidents happen, but I can't think of many at a TS that aren't avoidable...

All kidding aside there really is no excuse for it......never understood why people do it and yeah I beeyotched at a few over the radio for doing it...not like they ever answered....probably didn't even have radios...or wondered why they couldn't get a decent station on it

I always say something on the radio, I don't care who it is,,,and I usually get,,"##" or "you drive your truck, I'll drive mine".

What surprises me the most is that the usual suspects roaring around a truck stop are guys that have neutered trucks.
