Truck stops that are near bar/clubs?

Lake Station? Wow, 88K100, you're brave! Although it,'s better than actually being in Gary. LOL

 

Ever been there ? It looks deserted ever since covid ... not like theres anything worse in a strip club than covid

 

Everytime i go there its something else...been there 3 times this year. 1st time somebody caught their car on fire at the fuel pumps out front , luckily they moved it away from the pumps in time.... 2nd time some driver busted his head open on the tile flooring in the shower hallway. I come out of my shower only to find paramedics and firefighters helping some dude out of his pool of blood... 3rd time cops had some dude out front at facedown in the pavement at gunpoint ... i still go there cuz theres usually always parking

 

Keep going further east to the TA at exit 22. A lot less riff raff. Always parking available.

 

Yeah, I stopped in with some buddies last year. We were having a few at a nearby bar and got the wild idea to go donate to some college tuitions. I've seen better, but I've certainly seen worse!

 

Very true. It's not like that anymore though. Place is locked down like a prison yard.

 

Is that place as scary as it looks? I've been by twice and never dared to stop!

Sierra Sid's is next door to the Western Village casino, where drinks are free as long as you're playing.

And last time I was in Commerce City there was an awesome little neighborhood sports bar up Quebec St from the TA (too far to walk but a real short cab ride) - and there was a liquor store that was right at the edge of the parking lot.
