The Pilot off Wilson Rd in Columbus OH:
The Loves off Alum Creek Dr in Obetz:
They are building a big RaceTrac truck stop at 23/270 which should help with parking here in Columbus:

Loves in Obitz is a 24/7 nightmare.

This is Vivonne, large for a French routier truckstop but this picture was not taken lunchtime or evening when it would be pretty full, but I never had any problem getting in or out of it. It is very popular with Spanish and Portuguese drivers being on the direct route from the SW frontier to Paris. Normally they prefer their own food to French. All routier truckstops are free parking. This is a very good one, I have overnighted there many times.
Bud A., Jamie01 and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -

In Ontario, CA at Milliken Ave exit, there was. a small truck stop on the north side of the freeway where the In n Out is now. My memory wants to say it was a Pure fuel stop, but i'm probably wrong. Mostly a dirt lot.
54international Thanks this. -
This was my favorite 'truckstop' of all time, La Porte De La Mauricie, halfway between Louiseville and Yamachiche, Quebec. Fuel is by Irving, and the restaurant serves mostly "French provincial" cooking. Just off Autoroute 40, northeast of Montreal. -
Bud A. Thanks this.

Get off of I 80 in IL and it helps. Or it did, can't say for sure anymore. What I hated was those places that forced parking receipts, and I happened to lose one at the Petro in Bordentown, NJ. Got threatened even though I'd purchased over 200 gallons of fuel and had the receipt with the time stamp on it. It's been years since I've been there. Most of the places that had manned gates gave up on them where I went. I did manage to park at the Loves there a few times, but only because I could stick around and wait.
Hamburg, PA, just go down to the intersection with I 81 and go 1 exit north to that Loves.Bud A. Thanks this. -
Pilot Travel Center #9 Franklin, OH is the worst and always packed 24/7. I tried to stay at Flying J Travel Center #97 Vandalia, OH but its half the size with 100 spots and of course today ia the day I couldn't make it before 6 pm to Vandalia, OH. I remember on on this forum saying this lane of the midwest always has spots available and apparently that just b.s. because even in the day Franklin's Pilot seems completely full with alot of dropped trailers included.
