Truck stops with good food

I like the food at KC's Best Baby back ribs BBQ restaurant next to the Petro in Oak Grove, MO on I-70 exit 28.

 

The truckers special breakfast served at Seven Feathers Casin in Canyonville, OR. You can take the shuttle bus to the casino side. Show them your CDL. Big breakfast and very good. For something faster the sandwiches are great on the parking side.

 

That's pretty good eatin, but they are PROUD of their stuff. It will cost ya. I also like the BBQ joint across from Loves at Ina, IL. (That Love's is a friggin HOLE though)

 

I like the BBQ Sundae they have.

 

the amount of money spent being picky and only eating at 'good' sit down restaurants must add up. You could save hundreds per month by just bringing your own food.

 

I'll gladly pay more for a hot sit down meal, away from the truck.
No cooking, no clean up, wide variety of choices fo suit my mood at the moment not preplanned before the trip.

Someone who is making good money, shouldn't even notice the few hundred dollars more per month to eat at a restaurant.
If you are on that tight of a budget, maybe your question should instead be why?

I'm training a driver heavy haul for a few weeks, she told me she saves about 30 to 35% of what she is making into investments, and she does eat at restaurants regularly to.
She owns her house, car, motorbike, boat, takes nice vacations, dresses well.

 

I do bring my own food.

The point of eating inside is to get out of the truck. I’ll pay the extra. And not have a stinky truck.
