I've heard, yeah I want to get that figured out. I just finally spent some play money on an Ex-Guard deer basher and a few other 'wants' for my truck. The tranny upgrade may be next if nothing breaks for awhile.

That and the weight of a truck would crush the wood.

I get it. Just not popular around here. Never have been. East of the Mississippi tire chains are wall art.

Ck if 1 or more of drive brakes are stuck to brake drums, you can buy some 3ft. long small chains with 1 hook on them that will go thru holes in wheels and leave them on just to get out of parking space?

I’ll bet the OP has a light load. Along with the old steer tires on Drives. He’s going nowhere, without some potassium chloride pellets. That stuff works great, walk right out of it. I still think he’s got ice in the drums. If it were me, I’d try to crank trailer up high, get out from under it if possible, go get some melting pellets, and a propane torch kit. Drop trailer down, get close enough to hook up air lines, release brakes, and hook it up. As long as no one’s behind him. I’d hook it hard, probably break the ice in drums loose, if not, use my new torch. I hate to suggest such a thing. Dont want him to lose the trailer, if on a hill, or hit something behind him, could be dangerous. I would want to be sure it’s hooked good afterwards, or D&H it again on dry ground.

If you can shut off the traction control and hill assist you may be able rock it . Traction control cuts power at the wrong time .

I just assumed he got rid of all that stuff when he sold the truck.

Jesus I thought on this forum old smart drivers ...
    EVERY truck stop have
    A) windshield liquid which ta da! Melting ice.
    B) Engine coolant which ta da! Melting ice..
Yes it would cost you 40 or 50$.amd about 30 minutes of putting that #### everywhere around your tires , AND ON your tires, but it would melt an ice...
Sry bro, I saw this thread to late ...
