Truck too low to the ground

    The truck does not have a wet kit i was thinking on adding that and probably bigger wheels if that would fix the ground clearance problem. It seems that i might have to look at a truck that is spec'd for off road use.

    Sounds like you should maybe look into an oil field truck.

    Doesn't necessarily need an oilfield truck....just not one spec'd to bump docks.

    The clearance is about 8 inches

    Right now the truck is equipped with 22.5 low pro tires not sure if that makes a difference

    Putting on bigger tires will also mess up the truck s gearing.

    Haven't read every post, but I also haul dirt (double Belly's) and have seen many trucks with sleepers pulling end dumps, and poking holes in the tanks, quite costly, repairs to the tanks, loss of fuel, if you are looking to buy a truck, I'd go with a day cab with a short wheel base, good luck, I also agree with the one that said, you should wait, lot to learn

    Maybe we could be of more help to you if we had more info such as model, details, and specs of the current truck you're looking at, as well as pictures.

    It sounds like maybe you should do some more research.
