    Hi,

Has anyone ever been towed while being inside the truck? This ones more for kicks and giggles, always wondered if this ever actually happened to someone.

    Best regards, John

Craziest thing I ever saw with a tow truck was a co worker and I visited a friend in the hospital . He paid the meter but at 3 pm it becomes a no parking zone . We were on our way back to his beater 70 imperial that he was going to use for a demo derby it was 255 pm and wrecker was already hooked to it . He jumped in car started the ole 440 cu inch up and put it reverse and floored it the front wheels off the wrecker kept coming off the ground as he kept going forward then flooring it in reverse lol.. the tow operator called the cops at 259 pm so they dropped the charges on my co worker .

I was towed once with me inside the truck.
Didn't feel like small talk with the driver, so I stayed in the truck.

It was a bit surreal, not driving but moving.
And very smooth overall. It felt like floating on a cushion.

no, but i drove off this one time from my co-driver.

    we had a "signaling system"

that if EITHER of us was in the sleeper, KEEP the curtain CLOSED

if you LEAVE the sleeper, leave the curtain OPEN....

well the prink left the curtain closed, when he got out.....so i thought he was sleeping.

    i drove off......

    i got a phone call.......

    i wasn't too far.........

i had to turn around, against my better judgement too i might add.

i had him removed from my truck, at the next terminal.

it was either that, as i demanded, or i park the truck, and they try and find it.

Must have been mid 80's going past the rest area by North Platte. Women driver coming out of the rest area and a guy in his skivvys chasing the truck. Yelled at her on the radio and stopped. She forgot her husband. We were laughing, when he got to the truck he wasn't laughing. Figured it was time for me to leave.

I recently chose to sit in the truck while it was being towed. The tow driver was a smoker, I didn't want to be around it.
