I ate two truck stop brats with ketchup/mustard and drank a big bottle of apple juice, few miles down the road I told him I needed to go take a ****, turns out it was just a really bad case of gas

why? Why would you run an engine with no load on it at 1,00rpm. What make you think that is a good idea?

Find out what the idle policy is then decide for yourself if you want to follow it..at the big pumpkin at the highest performance bonus which was a 4 cent per mile increase. At my peak of 1600 miles (regional tanker) it was only an extra 64$. Since that was all they were willing to pay one once I realized they did everything they could to take the bonus away from you.. no matter how much my dbl called the truck stayed on. Conveniently around that time pilot started upping the points for every fuel up over 50 gallons. I made my bonus money up in pilot points. But I’m loving the questions John, don’t hesitate to keep asking

The Evolution idles up to 850 rpm, that's it.

The previous one in the 2013 would set the fast idle with the cruise control on, this one bumps up with it, but you can't have the cruise on.

Don’t worry about that. You don’t want me idling you better put an APU on this. And if you’re giving me those cruddy electric APUs it better come with fresh batteries I’m not going to have the darn truck starting and stopping all night just to save you some $$$ over having a plain diesel apu.
