Truck won't shift into high gear HELP

    My husbands 1982 Peterbilt Cabover 9 speed will only pulls when splitter is in high, he puts it in low and has nothing!! Anyone else have his issue?

    You can look for the air filter on back box of the trans. its a small canister like a old film canister unscrew it an clean it out, be sure each air line has air when you flip the range sel. on shifter, then ck. the air switch on L. upper side of trans. to be sure piston is moving with air into each side?

    I'll tell him when he gets in and get back with y'all! He broke power divider pulling a load of logs with it while in low, he fixed power divider and went to drive it when he couldn't get it to go in low and just out of curiosity flip it into high and it moved! It clicks in all low gears fine just no movement
