Yesterday the dash lights were coming on. My fuel gauge, air pressure, volt meter, etc jumped to where they should have when the key was in on position. I’m at autozone now to get fuses and terminal cleaner.

From what I understand, manufacturers suggest using the primer pumps, and some frown on pre filling fuel filters. Seems rediculous to Me. If you put empty fuel filters on when you changed them, might want to pre fill them and put them back on, prime it some with the pump, and try it again, using some ether won’t hurt either,

I don’t know your Truck, but mine has the check engine lights on dash, along with abs, etc. they come on for a few seconds, as a test basically, with key on, and go off after a few seconds. If ecm isn’t getting power, they won’t come on. Other guage lights, still work, as they run off battery.

It should've tried to start with ether but you said no change. So definitely sounds like fuel or ecm. Last summer I changed my fuel filters (prefilled) thing fired up right after, sat a few days and the sob wouldn't start. Kept trying and trying for 2 days and finally caught these ##### trucks. You try to treat them nice and they #### on you.
Gix1k and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
My check valve went bad, while it was on the shop for an overhaul. Coincidence, once I got that fixed, it was still sucking air from somewhere, probably fuel shut off valves, it would sputter a bit. Now it quit doing it, must have sealed up. Funny how things go bad, just from sitting. Worst thing for a Vehicle.lwlevens Thanks this.

You can put a bullet thru the ECM and it'll run on ether if the internals are healthy.

Maybe his are bad then, things go bad just like that I guess.

Here is what it does. Keep in mind four new batteries two days ago. With two days of trying it like this. Found out the two little wires on my batteries are to the tarp, so nothing seperate going to the ECM.

Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
The connections/ wires to starter are probably old, and full of corrosion. New batteries are now low. I would hook up a pair of jumpers from my car, 2 pairs of you got them, 2 vehicles if possible, wait at least 20 minutes, Leave jumper cables hooked up, shoot it good with ether and crank it.

Yellow and red dash lights working. Shows ecm is getting power.
