Trucker arrested for allegedly spitting on Shaw's striker

Since when is doing your job being unAmerican? I realize that the strikers feel they have a reasonable greivance, but why insult a guy just out trying to make enought to support his family? And no offense, but if somebody told me to remove the flag of my country of birth and residence just for doing my job, spitting in his face would be the least of my reactions.

 

Don't react in front of a cop... makes it kinda hard to fight it in court.

since when is spitting in someones face assualt and battery i thought you had to hit someone physically to assualt them

 

It is in some states because of the risk of spreading disease, like AIDS. Passed mostly because of dirtbags spitting on cops while in custody I think.

Guess he got off easy because as "law" has it, you can be charged with attempted murder for spitting on someone because the "spittee" "could" be HIV positive and someone who is HIV positive will be charged with murder because the HIV negitive person spit on would now be HIV positive.

 

Shaw's is a Northeast grocery chain.

It's no fun crossing a line to do your job.

In my case, to park a trailer so I could go home. I guess are company contracted this particular company to store extra trailers.

Went in empty, came out bobtail. Four days later went in bobtail, and came out empty.

You would have thought I was the lowest form of life possible with all the insults. They got just close enough not to impede me, but close enough to worry that I was going to run them over.

Next month, they had a court order... I had to stop for 30 seconds so they could parade and yell at me, while a security gaurd timed them.

Strike ended, and from what I heard they really didnt get all that much of what they wanted. Economy delt its hand.

 

Then don't cross a picket line,...Ever,.....
