No problem, I don't think there was anything wrong with your post. I was just clarifying my own surprise at what the article said. Of course that is assuming that whoever wrote the article knew what they were talking about.

    NavigatorWife and x1Heavy Thank this.

What the #### was this guy even doing behind the wheel of ANY vehicle in the first place, especially with a record like that?!?! And the company isn't so innocent, either; after all, they made the idiotic decision to hire Mr. Hell On Wheels.

I think the victim's family is about to own a trucking company.

@Big Don ..... reclick the link on @FoodStamp 's original post. . . the Driver is being RELEASED !~
Not ALL counties in Ohio are this bass-ackwards; if it happened where I live, or @Mike2633 or @Bob Dobalina lives........ he'd be there til' they sorted it out.
Sad for the lives lost and the families, thereof, for sure. RIP folks. RIH, driver/runner.

Bob Dobalina, Mike2633 and Big Don Thank this.

Yeah, I'd think that guy would be the very definition of "flight risk". Unbelievable.

That isn't going to stop a half arse stupid, (or crooked) judge from letting somebody loose! I sometimes think they do it just to prove how "powerful" they are...
I've seen several incidents over the years of some jack off that never should have been allowed to post bail, take off, get arrested clear across the country. Then get extradited back to where he jumped bail from, be taken before the judge, and once again be released on "own recognizance"
Then the judge true to act all surprised when the guy fails to appear...
